Turning air into water

MONTEREY, Calif. -

What if you could create water out of, well, thin air?

That's the question posed by the scientists behind the EcoloBlue EB-1000 Atmospheric Water Generator.

Company representatives were demonstrating their innovative product Wednesday in Monterey in connection with the Association of California Water Agencies' annual spring conference and exhibition.

The company, now in its seventh year of business, can produce up to 1,000 liters -- or 264 gallons - of water from the air per day.
