America loves to eat, apparently snack too.

A study by Driscoll's berries shows 81 percent of those surveyed, who work in an office setting, continue to work while eating their snack. The study found respondents who indulge in healthier snacks, like fresh fruit, are more social at snack time.
After reading this study, I could relate.

As a news anchor, with deadlines every hour of the day, I find myself munching on crackers, nuts or fruit while running to the next live shot or report. Driscoll's said more than 50 percent of those surveyed snack around 3 p.m. That seems to be the time most people need help getting out of an afternoon slump.   

Driscoll's said people who snack between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. are more likely to choose fresh fruit.
