Police: 23-Year-Old Man Already Has 5 DUI Arrests

Esteban Sanchez was arrested in Morgan Hill after a hit and run accident that injured a pregnant woman, said police. This is the 23-year-old's 4th DUI arrest.

MORGAN HILL, Calif. -

A 23-year-old man has been arrested on his fifth DUI charge after he hit a pregnant woman in Morgan Hill, said police.

Esteban Sanchez hit the pregnant woman's car New Year's Day on East Dunne Avenue, said police. She was injured in the accident but Sanchez still tried to flee the scene, said police.

According to police, while he was trying to escape the first accident scene, Sanchez lost control of his car and collided with a fire hydrant on Butterfield Boulevard at Barrett Avenue. Sanchez took off running and police said they had to chase the suspect down.

Sanchez was arrested on felony hit-and-run charges, driving under the influence, resisting arrest, driving on a suspended license and violation of probation.
