MORGAN HILL, Calif. -

Morgan Hill police are seeking three people in connection with a shooting on Friday.

Officers responded to Spring Avenue and Monterey Road around 11 p.m. to investigate reports of gun shots heard in the area. They found two victims -- a 25-year-old Gilroy man who was shot in the upper torso and arm, and a 29-year-old Morgan Hill man who'd escaped injury.

The 25-year-old man was transported to a local trauma center, and is expected to survive.

Officers determined that an argument ensued between two groups of males near a Chinese Restaurant. The two victims tried to walk away from the altercation, but two male suspects continued to yell at them.

As they victims walked away, they saw the two other men get into a car driven by a woman. She brought the vehicle to a stop, at which point multiple gun shots were seen and heard coming from inside the car. The trio fled.

Police have identified the suspects as 22-year-old Francisco Diaz, 21-year-old Nicolas Young and 22-year-old Deja Marie Ayala, all of Gilroy. They should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to call Detective Tacazon of the Morgan Hill Police Department at 408-779-2101 or call the anonymous tipline at 408-947-STOP (7867).
