Patricia Lopez of Monterey County claims her $200,000 prize from the California Lottery Monday.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -

A Salinas convenience store recently sold a $200,000 winning lottery scratch-off ticket, state lottery officials said.

Patricia Lopez purchased a winning 20X The Money Scratchers ticket at Magana's Meat Market on North Main Street.

She claimed her prize Monday at the California Lottery's East Bay District Office, where she told lottery officials she'd never won anything before.

She says she plans to put the winnings toward buying a house.
