GREENFIELD, Calif. -

Greenfield police arrested two men Thursday after investigating what they say is an illegal pot growing operation on Beech Street.

Around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, officers contacted three men at 220 Beech and searched the residence. They discovered the home had been modified for the cultivation of marijuana, including the garage. More than 125 marijuana plants, more than 25 pounds of loose-leaf marijuana and pot-growing paraphernalia was confiscated.
