Update: Hollister police arrest man wanted for fatal shooting

HOLLISTER, Calif. -

Hollister police have taken Francisco Cardenas into custody on Saturday. He was wanted in the murder of Daniel Cadenas on July 14.

Police served a search warrant at Francisco's home Friday morning and arrested his mother for allegedly helping in his escape.

Suspect Francisco Cardenas was arrested in Hollister and booked into San Benito County Jail. He is presently being held on murder charges with no bail.

The Hollister Police Department would like to thank all of the concerned community members who came forward with information regarding this case.
